Call for Applications: RACAR English Reviews Editor

English Reviews Editor

RACAR (Revue d’art canadienne/ Canadian Art Review) is looking for a new English Book and Exhibition Reviews Editor to start August 1, 2022. The position involves selecting English books and exhibitions for review, finding appropriate reviewers, some general editing of reviews (not copy-editing), and communicating with the RACAR editorial team. This is an unpaid position usually held by a university professor. There will be a transition period in which the new English Reviews Editor will work with the person currently in the position.

RACAR (https://www.racar-racar.com/), the official journal of the University Art Association of Canada, is the sole general art and art history journal in Canada. Its scope reflects the broad range and diversity of artistic and art historical practices in Canadian postsecondary institutions. It features traditional research articles, image-heavy accounts of artistic, curatorial and research-creation practices, book and exhibition reviews, and other contributions relevant to our disciplines. It publishes contributions in French or in English.
